Album Review
CCM fans who thought that 2005's 11-song "He Reigns: The Worship Collection" or 2007's single-disc "Greatest Hits" anthology failed to do justice to the career of one of the more successful crossover Christian rock bands of the '90s will revel in 2009's two-disc, 24-track "Ultimate Collection". Since 1985, Australia's Newsboys have been one of the best-selling Christian music artists, boasting a legion of devoted worshippers as well as a healthy secular fan base who were drawn to the group's early-'90s conversion from cliché-ridden, dogmatic faith peddlers to rousing and amiable alternative rock outfit. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
