Album Review
The two volumes of "Barney's Favorites" are much like the children's television show itself -- cute and sweet, bordering on saccherine and basically only of interest to children. All the songs are catchy in a sing-song manner, and they never say anyting offensive, even if the lyrics may be overly-simplified and occasionally condescending. Nevertheless, "Barney's Favorites" provides hours of listening enjoyment for small children, although parents might find it a little tiring. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
