Album Review
"20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: Motown 60's, Vol. 1" collects a dozen of Motown's most distinctive tracks from the '60s, including the Temptations' "My Girl," the Four Tops' "I Can'T Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)," the Supremes' "Baby Love," and the Miracles' "Shop Around." Songs from Mary Wells, Martha & the Vandellas, Gladys Knight & the Pips, the Contours, and Marvin Gaye round out the collection. Motown diehards will probably find the album's selections too obvious, but it's still a solid choice for someone who wants some of the label's biggest hits in one convenient package. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
