Album Review
Control Machete's third full-length record became their first greatest-hits compilation, opening with the urban "Si Señor" and including their 1997 smash "¿Comprendes Mendes?," and a remix of "Asi Son Mis Dias." "Solo Para Fanaticos" is composed of Fermín IV, Pato, and Tony Kenobi's most popular and experimental songs, such as the hip-hop and alternative pop/rock "Presente," the tropical meets Latin rap "Grita," and the powerful metal-rap "Mexican Curios." In addition, this collection delivers "La Lupita," from Control Machete's debut "Mucho Barato" and "Desde La Tierra (El Tercer Planeta)," from their 1999 album called "Artilleria Pesada". ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
