Album Review
The Georgia Mass Choir have been recognized as one of gospel music's most popular choirs. Their claim to fame was serving as the choir that backed pop/R&B icon Whitney Houston on "The Preacher's Wife" movie and soundtrack. The choir's "I Owe You Praise" collection finds this talented vocal aggregation offering up their patented traditional gospel music flavor. This set, which was recorded live in Jacksonville, FL, features a number of memorable performances. The Canton Spirituals' lead vocalist, Harvey Watkins Jr., makes a guest appearance on the track "Prayer Changes Things." Other noteworthy tracks include "Bye And Bye," "Bring It To Him," "Walk In The Light," "Stand," and the title track, "I Owe You Praise." This is just an incredible project. ~ Tim A.
