Album Review
It goes without saying, but any release credited to Teddy Pendergrass is a collection of love songs. Nonetheless, The Right Stuff put together "The Love Songs Collection" in 2004, and it contains many of the songs you see on most other Pendergrass compilations: "Love T.K.O.," "Turn Off The Lights," "Close The Door," "The More I Get, The More I Want," "Come Go With Me," "The Love I Lost," and several others. At 17 tracks, it certainly tops all the cheap jobs done by fly-by-night budget labels throughout the years, but it's far from definitive. You'd do better with just about any other Pendergrass set released by The Right Stuff. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
