Album Review
Despite being one of the best-selling rappers of all-time, none of MC Hammer's albums were very consistent -- the singles stood out like a sore thumb among the filler on each record, which is why "Greatest Hits" is such a good bargain. "Greatest Hits" compiles 12 of Hammer's biggest hits for Capitol Records, including "U Can'T Touch This," "Pump It Up," "Turn This Mutha Out," "They Put Me In The Mix," "Have You Seen Her," "Pray," "Here Comes The Hammer," "2 Legit 2 Quit," "Do Not Pass Me By," and "Addams Groove." It's not only an excellent introduction to MC Hammer, it's the best album in his entire catalog. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
