Album Review
"Lost & Found in the Seventies" is a bad title for a good collection of pop, rock, and soul from the '70s. The title seems to imply that the disc is made up of rare or interesting songs residing somewhere out of the mainstream of sales and radio play. Instead, it is a collection of some of the biggest hits of the decade, like Don McLean's "American Pie," Jim Croce's "Time In A Bottle," Sugarloaf's "Green-Eyed Lady," Al Green's "Let'S Stay Together," and Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You," as well as some lesser hits that have become staples of '70s collections, like Dwight Twilley's "I'M On Fire," Raspberries' "Go All The Way," and Roxy Music's "Love Is The Drug." Despite the bargain-basement packaging and misleading title, this is one of the better '70s rock collections you will find. ~ Tim Sendra, All Music Guide
