From Autumn to Ashes frontman Frances Mark started Biology in 2004. Though he tapped FATA bassist Josh Newton and Engine Down drummer Cornbread Compton as a rhythm section for "Making Movies," Biology's 2005 Vagrant debut, his vision for the project went beyond simply being in another band to include plans for theatrical live performances and a revolving lineup of friends and creatives.
