A seamless blend of Celtic music, jazz, and classical chamber music has given Nightnoise its distinct sound. According to Irish music website www.ceolas.org, "their music is a fusion of jazz, traditional Irish, and impressionistic chamber music. The overall impression is of graceful, polished playing and mellow, but not stagnant, atmosphere, occasionally almost Enya-esque."
