A. The software that Sony BMG programmed into your CD may have contained Extended Copy Protection ("XCP") software designed by First 4 Internet, LTD or MediaMax software designed by SunnComm International, Inc. These programs were designed to prevent unlimited copying and unauthorized redistribution of the music on the CD. The XCP and SunnComm/MediaMax software have raised security concerns.

We recommend that you not use this CD in any computer.

To participate in Sony BMG's CD Technologies Settlement just go to www.sonybmgcdtechsettlement.com and follow the instructions provided.

A. To confirm that your CD does not contain XCP content protection software, check the Club selection number that appears below the bar code on the back of the CD packaging. If an R appears at the end of the Club selection number, this CD does not contain content protection software.

(Please Note: "My Very Special Guests" by George Jones will not have a Club selection number or an R. If this CD contains XCP content protection software, you will see a computer compatibility block on the back of the CD packaging. This block contains information regarding compatibility features such as "Playback," "Ripping" and "Portable Devices." The block also includes the web address for Sony BMG.

If you do not find the computer compatibility block on the back of the CD packaging, this CD does not contain XCP content protection software.

A. If your CD contains SunnComm/MediaMax content protection software, you will see a computer compatibility block on the back of the CD packaging. This block contains information regarding compatibility features such as "Playback," "Ripping" and "Portable Devices." The block also includes the web address for SunnComm.

A. All CDs with XCP content protection software have been removed from our inventory. CDs shipped after 11/21/05 do not contain XCP content protection software.
